According to the news from Zhongtong Bus Holding Co., Ltd (Zhongtong for short as below) shows that its new-energy buses put into commercial operation recently and receives lots of praise from society because of many humanized designs, excellent market performance and low fuel consumption.
Zhongtong New Energy Buses
Zhongtong says the new-energy buses can be driven by two kinds of power. One is diesel, the other is electricity. The engine rotation speed under the 1000 rpm, the bus is driven by electricity. The engine rotation speed upon to the 1000 rpm, the bus is driven by diesel. The vehicle computer can choose each running model according to the road condition.
Zhongtong also introduces that there are two battery cells in this bus to ensure it running smoothly. Battery can be charged with 30%-60% when the driver takes the brake. Through exact calculation, new-energy bus can save more than 90,000 Yuan per year compared the normal one.
According to Chinese government reveals that Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Changchun, Wuhan, Changsha, Hefei, etc will use new-energy buses to serve the public in near future.
