News from China Auto Association shows that China"s auto sales should soar to 12.6 million units in 2009, up 35 percent year-on-year. Due to the tax cut and government’s subsidies, China auto market will surpass USA to place No.1 in the world.
Mr. Xu Changming, senior economist for the State Information Center, says if government’s supporting policy is extended to next year, rapid growth of auto sales will be sustained. Otherwise, it will fluctuate, and it"s hard to predict the auto sale in near future.
Mr. Xu also says China auto market still increases according to China’s long-term plan. He predicts that auto industry will grow at least 15 percent in the next decade.
