2009-10-21

News from Hankook (China) reports that its sale will be continuing fall after the US government to levy 35 percent tariff on China-made auto tire. Hankook strongly opposes the trade protectionism like US government.

The United States of America’s president Barack Obama imposed the levy after the United Steelworkers complained that Chinese imports were pushing US workers out of jobs.

Hankook Tire has two out of its five plants worldwide in China. The company has about 25 percent auto market share in China.
