In the shadow of global financial crisis, Foton is highlighting talents recruitments scale and strength to prepare global marketing strategy. Yesterday, Foton held the fourth large job fair this year, more than 2,300 home and abroad talents joined the job fair. It predicts that more than fifty persons will be employed by Foton. They will recruit over five hundred middle-and-high-ranking talents, one hundred of which are home and abroad experts.
"Foton is transferring from home brand to international brand, and we have to perfect our talents structure firstly to build global operation capability. Foton has never been thirsty to wards high-end talents,” explained Zhang Xiyong, Foton Administrative Assistant General Manager. As the largest domestic commercial vehicle manufacturer, Foton has recruited more than 4,000 domestic talents in the last 13 years. Especially when the headquarter moved from Shandong to Beijing in 1998, their talents strategy was strongly supported by Beijing Municipal Government and related departments, and over 400 middle and high ranking employees have their registered residence problem solved. Till now, Foton is the enterprise getting the most Beijing registered residences.
At present, Foton has entered vital period of global development. It’s learned that their production capacity will reach 1,000,000 units, and Huairou middle and heavy trucks project, Miyun MPV production base and Changping Shahe new energy automobile production base will be put into operation successively; and their overseas plants in Thailand, Brazil, India, Russia etc are prepared to construct. Their total production and sales volume will reach 1,500,000 units with operating income 120,000,000,000 RMB (about 17,573,864,457USD), 33% of which will be overseas sales volume.
Foton Motor has held many large personnel recruitments in Beijing, shanghai and Detroit this year, and they introduced over 40 overseas experts in Detroit. There are research and development exports and also reports good at corporate merger and acquisition, familiar with western policies, laws and finance etc.
It’s learned that many applicants in the job fair had overseas background. A youngman from Hebei province just graduated in Sydney and he wanted to join in Foton marketing department on his financial major. Person in charge of Foton human resource told correspondent that 90 of the 260 applicants were recommended by well-known headhunting company, and they are experts with overseas background. And Foton will go to Wuhan and Changchun etc for directional recruitment.
