Today, I made an introduction abou the development of Zhongtong Bus. No.1,The background,trend and policy of the new energy bus. No.2,The strategy carried on of new energy buses. No.3, The analysis on the economic and social effect of the over 200 new energy cars we currently input and operated in the market.
First,Background. As the old state-owned corporation, Zhongtong Bus was founded in 1958 and the listed company holded by the State Property Management Commission.It is the bus producing corporation designated by the Ministry of Communications in the plan economy, one of the 13 key enterprises set in the Seventh Five-Year period and the national high technology enterprise as well as "836" plan example corporation. Also it is one of the four listed bus companies with total assets of 1.484 billion yuan, and annual production capability of 12 thousand buses and chassis,owning the complete producing technology in synchronization with the international level and introduced from Dutch BOVA corporation. It is the bus company that sent more than one hundred employees to study abroad at one time and the first to obtain the automobile exporting of the whole body and the producing qualification of the new energy automobile.
In 2006, Zhongtong Bus successfully passed through the strict checking and inspection of the National Development and Reform Commission and became the one of the first companies able to produce the whole body and get the certification of CNAS one at a time in March,2007.
It has the complete advanced and professinal bus producing technology and equips with the complete production line of punching, welding, hull painting, general assembly and chassis. In 2008,we exported 2061 buses with income of 0.1 billion US dollars. It is a vital problem how to be the first to realize the energy saving and emission reducing in the bus industry, as a internatinal company with synchronization with internationl level in technology.
Second,the automobile development brings about the challenge to the human. As of the end of June,2009,the vehicle fleet has exceeded 176.55 million in our country and there are about 69.62 million automobiles. Among them mentioned above,there are 60%-70% vehicles of high assumption and high pollutants emission.The ten millionth vehicles were released in FAW (Changchun) on 20th,October,2009. From the January to October,2009,the overall sales amount of the domestic automobiles is almost 11 million, which is an important milestone in the development of Chinese automobile industry and market and marks China"s being the actual automobile big country and gratually transmits to the strong country.
The production and sales volume of the Chinese buses is 167.645 thousand with 26,760 thousand exported vehicles included in 2007, while, the volume is 162,298 and 21,156 were exported under the influence of the financial crisis with de decline of 20.94% in 2008.The whole production volume for our country is 121,332 thousand from January to October,2009.
The prosperity of the automobile brings us both convenience and much trouble such as energy crisis and global greenhouse effect(carbon dioxide issue). Many leaders of the developed countries take this issue as an excuse,so did Obama for this visiting to China. Then is the air control problem. The pollutants emission of the vehicle take 40%-50% of the city pollutants emission.Since 2003, we have become the second oil assumption country,second only to America.
(Graphic)In this picture, I introduce the develpment trend of the energy saving vehicles.The current automobile industry is gradually transmiting to the hybird power technology and our country is heading to the rechargeable hybird power in the aspect of automobile energy development in the next stage as well as finally develop into the production and consuptioon mode of pure electric vehicle.
The general layout of electric vehicle of the national Tenth Fifth-year is also the our country"s step in the first stage,with the strategy of three levels of fuel electric,hybird power and pure electric automobile.We will continue the promotion of the energy saving and new energy in the Eleventh Fifth-year period with the core of the dynamic system as the platform.
The new energy automobiles above 10-meter enjoy the state subsidy and it will differ due to the different battery applied in 2009.
Zhongtong Bus regards the new energy automobile as the development strategy. The company set up the strategy of electric buses and promoted hybird power buses as the key point,seeked the usage of the pure electric buses in the region markets, and followed the technology conditions of the fuel battery buses trend in 2005. It successfully realized the transformation of the function to the performance of the samples through the trial of the whole vehicle,dynastic system optimization and intergration optimization, with the fuel saving amount up to above 17% in 2005. The hybird power and pure electric buses for Olympic Games obtained the national 863 project approval in 2006. It invested 56 million yuan to establish new energy engineer center and develped pure electric buses for Olympic Games in 2007. It broke the core producing technology and realized the mass production and sales in 2008.
We hold the principle of develpment,improvement and preparation as our products strategy and present one type of hybird power or pure electric bus products each year to build up the engineer layout of project,systematization and product. The company has invested 72,00 million yuan to change and complete the objective of annual production volume of 20,00 million.
We have made the productive achievements on the contruction of the new energy buses engineer center. We regard the lab construction as the basis of accumulation of the creativity. Also we establish the open development and cooperation relationship with the domestic famous univerisities and institutes.
