Summarize Liu Qi,the member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Beijing municipal Party secretary came to Beijing Caiyu economic development zone in Daxing to observe the new energy auto development with Wan Gang,the minister of Science and Technology Department and the Beijing Municipal deputy Party secretary,Guo Jinlong,the mayor of Beijing municipal, and the related leaders of Beijing municipal and Peking University in the afternoon of November 14,2009.
During the observation, Liu Qi, Wan Gang, Guo Jinlong and other leaders unveiled the nameplate of the newly founded Beijing New Energy Auto Technology Industrial Park, Beijing New Energy Auto Co., Ltd.and Beijing Pride New Energy Battery,Co.,Ltd. carefully observed the development condition of the electric auto parts such as power control system, power battery and motor and experienced the electric sample vehicles by taking and driving.
The Minister Wan Gang and Beijing municipal leaders observed the development condition of new energy auto.
Liu Qi, Wan Gang and Guo Jinlong attended the working conference of the Beijing new energy auto development, listened to the report of the preparation of New Energy (Motor) Auto Corporation of Beijing Auto Group, the technology line of electric vehicles of Beijing Auto, and the sample development of vehicle and made speech about the development job of Beijing electric vehicles.
The Secretary Liu Qi"s speech referred to that the unveiling of the "one park and two corporations" meant the starting of the development strategy of Beijing new energy auto. We should regard the pure electric power vehicles as our direction of lead-forward development as well as industry prosperity. In the current condition, the technology is not the only difficulty to develop pure electric vehicles, actually we should know how to step into and occupy the market. We will solve two problems in the following working. On the one hand, we will continue to reduce the cost, improve the performance, and gather all the resources including the experts home and abroad through our development to improve further the control performance of battery as well as vehicles and to increase the competitiveness. On the other hand, we should focus on the market entrance and form the market mode of quick promotion with full consideration of our bus priority and the government"s leading role in the economy development, leading the public service such as public transport, renting, public business cars to first use the Beijing new energy vehicles and increase the speed of entering into the market and continuously improve technology in the process.
Minister Wan Gang pointed out that the urgency, strategic and possibility should be fully realized. We should promote the pure electric vehicles as the strategy orientation, the whole body corporation as the main point for the hybrid power vehicles and upgrade the current products to realize the technology change and advancement with the technology preparation for the coming fuel battery auto. Beijing is expected to be the bigger stage for the new energy auto development, the combination of industrialization and commercialization. We incessantly create the business mode; combine the new energy auto and new energy development, new energy auto and public transport as our national priority to walk the way of new energy auto with Chinese features, then to facilitate the leap-forward development of our auto industry.
