Recently Yutong chassis assembly plant nitrogen-filled tire equipment was put into use after half-year joint efforts by Yutong technique department and equipment safety depaerment.
Key configurations of the nitrogen-filled tire equipment are made of imported advanced facilities. Air compressor’s parameter can be set accordingly to reach stable and accurate pressure. Dial plates on the equipments can display Chinese in computer about maintenance and alarm to pre-protect the facility. The filtrating equipment comprises main line filter, accuracy filter, oil-removal filter, and activated carbon filter, adding imported filter element to achieve filter fineness 0.01μm, vestigial oil 0.001PPm. Nitrogen machine can be controlled with programmable controller automatically. At the same time, purity quotient of nitrogen can be monitored by intelligent oxygen detector in real-time, and it will give an alarm when oxygen content is over proof. Molecular sieve is adopted multipoint combined-type auto-compress equipments, which can keep non-pulverization in ten years.
Yutong bus
After equipped in the chassis tire split charging, the whole equipment can fill seven tires in four minutes, and purity quotient of nitrogen is no less than 98%. Currently, nitrogen fill technique is used in all Yutong self made chassis tires.
Compared with previous air-filled tires techniques, nitrogen-filled tires have many advantages: tyre bursts can be effectively reduced to prevent tire-roll-driving for lack of air; it can keep stable tire pressure to provide smooth driving and to reduce friction and rusty to extend service life; and it can also lessen noise of the tires to provide comparatively tranquil driving. In addition, it can also reduce rolling resistance when the vehicle is moving on to decrease fuel-consumption.
It’s learned that there is no similar technique made by other manufacturers in domestic buses and coaches industry apart from Yutong. When the technique is put into use, it can effectively promote product quality and meet customers’ differentiated needs, fulfill their "customer-oriented” management concept and show their leading role in domestic buses and coaches industry.
