In the late 2009, thirteen well-known enterprises gave excellent “China show” in Peru during “China Auto International Expo” organized by CCPIT and China Machinery Industry Federation. Peru television, local stations and newspapers reported the activity warmly. The four Yutong coaches served as activity vehicles. The four vehicles won attention and praise from all circles in Peru by their excellent design and great performance. And they also won the only “Contribution Award of China Auto Exported to South America” awarded by organizing committee of the Expo in buses and coaches industry.

As the last leg of the Expo, Peru is located in desert, with complex terrains like plateau, desert and plain etc, so requirements for vehicles are comparatively high. Yutong buses started from Chile, run across five Peru cities with 1,400 km to guarantee the whole journey. Lots of citizens were attracted to witness the expo like that in San Diego, capital of Chile.

It’s learned that local media in Lima has reported the activities previously. And Chinese automobiles have also won praises by local people after the trade agreement signed by China and Peru this April. And communication minister of Peru has also ride on Yutong bus and enquired about the vehicles and said that Yutong bus is just what Peru people want and he hoped that Yutong can make more contribution for communication and transportation in Peru.
