According to the statistic of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), the sales volume of the various vehicles quickly increased in November, 2009.The production and the sales volume of the passenger vehicles reached 1074.7 thousand and 1036.4 thousand with the growth of 10.76% and 9.50% than last month, up 1.01 times and 98.23% over the same period of the last year respectively. The monthly sales made new record and remained good condition. The chain increase of the multi-function passenger vehicles (MPV) was the most obvious, while the growth of the sport utility vehicles (SUV) and crossover passenger vehicles is slower. The increase rate of the SUV and crossover was over 100% compared with the same period in 2008. The accumulated sales of the passenger vehicles are 9230 thousand units from Jan. to Nov. with the possible sales of ten millions units to make new record.
Based on the statistic, the production and the sales volume of the passenger vehicles reached 316.7 thousand and 301.3 thousand with the growth of 10.09% and 7.65% more than that in last month, up 1.14 times and 90.48% over the same period in last year respectively. 5.71 percentages and 4.66 percentages rose in the growth rate compared with that from Jan.to Oct. The sales condition of the commercial vehicles was obviously better, specially the trucks with the increase of 36.89% from Jan.to Nov. This model took two-thirds in the commercial vehicles and became the main pulling power. The sales rising of the buses and chassis of trucks were only 4.31% and 5.10%.The semi-trailers and non complete vehicles were less that that of the same period in 2008.
