Themed as “Intelligent transportation & New Energy Vehicle---Create New Trip Mode” The sixth International Energy-saving and New Energy Vehicles & Intelligent Transportation Exhibition, hosted by ITS China, national intelligent transportation system research center, and national 863 Program energy-saving and new energy vehicle major program office etc, was held in Shenzhen Exhibition Center on December 11, 2009. Wan Gang, Ministry of Science and Technology, attended the exhibition.

As one of the biggest environmentally friendly bus manufacturers South China, Wuzhoulong Bus took an active part in this exhibition. It’s learned that Wuzhoulong has established branch companies in Chongqing and Shenyang, and they have also developed related upstream and downstream industries to make complete production chains.

Mr. Wan expressed that Wuzhoulong set a good example in public transport in Shenzhen and he hoped Wuzhoulong to seize the opportunity to improve competitiveness of their products and make contributions on energy-saving as well as emission reduction. And Wuzhoulong hybrid low-entry city buses and pure electric buses with key technique and parts won praise by all visitors.

And then Mr. Wan went to Shenzhen Bus Group Nanshan bus station to inspect Shenzhen new energy public transport program, including Wuzhoulong hybrid city buses and EMA information system, and he praised Wuzhoulong’s efforts on intelligence and environmental protection. As we have learned that there are 101 hybrid new energy city buses running on several demonstration bus lines. And these buses were all produced by Wuzhoulong with 22.9％ fuel saved than average buses.

Mr. Zhang pointed out in the conference that there will be 380 Wuzhoulong hybrid buses running on Shenzhen later this year, which is also the biggest new energy vehicles application in China, and their performance, no matter energy-saving and emission reduction, are satisfying. In the mean time Wuzhoulong is making every effort to forge the biggest domestic new energy automobile production base.
