The downstream industry of the medium and large buses mainly refers to the city public, road, tourism and group transport.
Affected by the financial crisis, the sales of the buses for public transport dramatically reduced because the most governments were not able to afford with the enough subsidy in terms of the decreasing of the income as well as the investment on the large-scale infrastructure. In 2009, in the background of the depression of the macro-economy, the demand of the buses in the public transport industry was reducing due to the less flow of the passengers and electricity multiple units (EMU). Meanwhile the overseas demand was influenced by the crisis.
Overall, it is estimated that the sales of the medium and large buses will decrease about 10% in 2009.
