Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. (DFL) showed that its objective of the sales was 600 thousand buses with the growth of 16% in 2010 , compared with the expected 517 thousand units in 2009 on 16 December.
Kimiyasu Nakamura, the president of DFL indicated that the growth objective was lower than that in 2008 with the growth of 48%.
This joint venture sold 47，099 units with the annual increase of 40.9% and 469，559 with the growth of 51.3% from January to November.
Kimiyasu Nakamura said that the sales growth was promoted by the measures of the vehicle purchase tax on the vehicles, less than 1.6L in Beijing. Meanwhile, the sales network was extended in the small cities.
