According to statistics analysis of ninety-six bus builders by CAAM, speed increase in Northwest China is the fastest, then it comes East China, Central and South China, while declining scope in Northeast China and North China is narrowing from Jan. to Nov.
Speaking of market segment of bus, sales volumes of small buses keep stable increasing, city bus and coaches saw a lower declining, and decreasing width of articulate buses, special buses as well as tourism coaches were still marked compared with the same period in 2008. From Jan. to Nov. 122,900 small buses were sold out, up 5.79% year on year; 46,900 city buses were purchased, down 0.91%; 50,200 coaches were sold, down 1.59%; sales volumes of articulate buses were 164 units, down 90.17%; special buses were 2,931 units, down 25.40%, and tourism coaches were 13,000 units, down 16.29% year on year.
Additionally, sales volumes of northeast China were 19,200 units, up 17.14%, east China were 80,500 units, up 4.78%, central and south China were 42,600 units, up 3.98%, southwest were 26,400 units, up 3.08%, northeast were 28,000 units, down 3.84%, and sales volumes in north China were 39,600 units, down 15.40%.
