China Auto Market Holds Leading Position in 2010

According to the reports from China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM for short as below), China, India and Brazil will lead the way in global auto sales in 2010. Some auto experts predict that the US market will see a double-digit increase in this year and it will lead the way in mature markets. Experts also say that the recovery of global auto sales started at the year-end of 2009 and it would gain momentum in this year.


In the year of 2009, China became the largest auto market in the world, surpassing the United States. Thanks to the central government"s stimulus policy, auto sale in China increased more than 40 percent year-on-year. The auto stimulus policy continues in this year. Auto experts predict that the policy will increase the sale with 20 percent to hit 9 million units. China auto market will also lead the global emerging market in the year of 2010.
