Chinese Buses Popular in Peru Market

The Chinese business delegation and fleet of the 7th China Auto International Exhibition Activity arrived in Arequipa, the second largest city of Peru and held the fixed and city exhibition on 19 November 2009 in local time. Arequipa is the biggest business, administration, culture and military center in the south region of Peru and owns the developed light industry and leading city construction.

The Chinese buses international exhibition in South America obtain the attention of the local media.

 

 

The local people were quite enthusiastic for this auto exhibition , showed strong interest in the cars, pick-ups and SUV and inquired their favorite models in detail on the scene.

 

Then, the Chinese business delegation visited Carlos Vizcarra, the deputy mayor of Arequipa and the principals of the related government departments. In terms of the updating of the new articulated buses in Arequipa, Guo Jinliang, the manager in charge of American business of Yutong Bus introduced its scale, production capacity, product features and the advantages in Peru market at length. The relevant principal of the ministry of communications spoke highly of the design and the craftwork of Yutong buses after his visiting.

 

Carlos Vizcarra said that, "Arequipa has sound trade partner cooperation with China (The agreement of friendly cities between Guangzhou and Arequipa was signed on 27 October, 2004) and I believe in the gradual acceptance of the Chinese products. The Chinese vehicles comply with not only the European standard but also the local regulations in Peru. It is certain that they will be accepted by the local people with advanced technology. But the Chinese manufacturer still need to make effort in propaganda to make more people know such technology advantages and get popular soon."
