In the afternoon of 13 January 2010, Feng Lixiang, the Datong municipal secretary of party visited the China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Datong Gear Group. Co. Ltd and researched about the hard problems of development objective and manufacturing business with Ma Bin, the deputy mayor.

Ltd showed that Datong Gear obtained good achievements in business with the average 30% year-on-year growth in the total production and sales incomes. In 2010, it sets up the operation objective of manufacturing as well as selling 80,000 heavy duty truck transmissions and reaches 117 million USD in sales income with 40% more than that of 2009.
Feng Lixiang said that Datong Gear fully applied reversed transmission with the financial crisis, seized the opportunity and speeded up the adjusting of the products structure as well as the technology upgrading to overcome the unprecedented difficulties in 2009. The general capability increased a lot and the historical breakthrough of the new products was made. It was expected that the related departments would make effort to the infrastructure constructions of the manufacturing park, accelerate the accessory equipments construction and provide relevant service for the relocation of the corporations.
