Hengtong city minibuses are applicable to the 20 kilometers city public transport lines with limited road conditions as well as even distribution of the visitors flow rate. It is the first new concept medium bus with low access floor in China. The Hengtong city minibuses presented on the 7th Beijing Intl.Bus & Accessories Expo attained the unanimous approval of the experts and won "CIBC Energy-saving and Environmental Bus Award" and the award of excellent bus of Guangdong Transport Companies for Asian Games and National University Games.
Zhao Jialin, the former advanced engineer of Beijing Public Transport Group said that, "It is suitable for the region public transport and supplies a new option for our current feeder carrying problems. The visitors from J-BUS (Japan) expressed that it was worth studying that the Chinese 7-meter buses were capable of rear engine, fashion appearance, low price and spacious interior. In July, 2009, they specially arrived in Chongqing to visit the Hengtong city baby buses and indicated that this model owned the bright prospect in China, even the international market.
