According to the statistics from China Customs, the vehicle export volume in the year of 2009 drops 46 percent to 332,400 units year-on-year. China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM for short as below) reveals that the export volume of passenger vehicle drops 57 percent to 149,600 units and the export volume of commercial vehicle falls 32 percent to 182,800 units. CAAM says the global financial crisis, uncertain global economic trend, unexpected financial factors and investors" unconfident mind are the main reasons for the drop.
Through the CAAM"s statistics, the positive signal shows that the export volume of the second half of 2009 declines slowly. Many Chinese auto and export experts predict that the global economy will be recovered at the second half of this year because many countries stimulus policies are continuing to take effect and more and more customers and investors fills in full confidence in 2010 economic development.
