At "The 4th Great Influence to China Buses Industry 2009-2010 Announcement of Chinabuses Reader Survey & Awarding Ceremony", Hengtong Bus won "2009-2010 Most Popular Buses in China" and "2009-2010 Recommended Buses to Overseas Market" on 30 January 2010.

Lei Yan, the assistant to general manager of Hengtong Bus showed that Hengtong Bus made breakthrough in the development of new energy vehicles, manufacturing right of bus chassis, ISO/TS16949:2002 quality management certification and the development of the highway buses with 70-year"s history in the past 2009. In terms of the overall 34% industrial decline, Hengtong Bus continues to open the mainstream market with year-on-year growth of 17% and becomes one of the competitive bus manufacturers in China. In addition, Hengtong Bus has been active in extending the
overseas markets and channels in recent years and opened the new markets such as Malawi, the Philippines, Brunei and Chile with the creative model and concept. It attracted the customers from Peru and Algeria to visit Chongqing and purchased Hengtong buses in batch quantity with ISO/TS16949:2002 quality management certification as well as the advantages of CNG buses. There were 400 CNG buses exported to Thailand as one of the big exporting deals.
Lei Yan indicated that the awarded CKZ6127CH3 bus for "2009-2010 Most Popular Buses in China" is equipped with human-centered soft interior decoration, air uspension, centralized grease system and eddy current brake. It is the model suitable for the domestic middle and long haul road transportation with easy control, safety and energy-saving. The awarded CKZ6801N3 bus for "2009-2010 Recommended Buses to Overseas Market" is the model appropriate for the public transport in middle and large cities both home and abroad with strong carrying capacity, safety, durability, and big passenger capacity. This model reduces by 2% or so in the gross vehicle weight than that with the same length, based on the comfort and economy.
