It is known that the CA6120URH2 gas-electric hybrid power buses developed by our FAW are 12 meters long and equipped with double-axis parallel structure with the features of simple structure, low cost and easy maintenance. It reduces over 30% in the carbon emission compared with the conventional buses.
Recently, the Chinese government has been dedicated to promoting the sustainable development of energy, energy-saving and emission reducing in the area of transportation. In 2009, the Ministry of Finance issued " The Notice of the Promotion of the Energy-saving and New Energy Vehicles in the Demonstration Test Cities" with the Ministry of Science and Technology and carried on the related promotion activities in 13 cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Changchun, including the application of new energy public buses such as gas-electric hybrid power buses, electric buses and gas-buses in our cities in batch quantity.
FAW specially developed Jiefang CA6120URH2 gas-electric hybrid power bus and formally produced in November 2009 in terms of the rich resources in gas and bus gas stations in Changchun.
