Mechelin (China) says environmental protection is not the responsibility of any single individual or organization, but that of all citizens.
Michelin launches a lot of green and fuel-efficient tires in China so far, including the Energy MXV8 and Primacy LC. According to the statistics, seven out of every 10 tires Michelin sells in China are designed for fuel-efficiency. Michelin products have saved 11 billion liters of fuel, or a reduction of about 28 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions over the 17 years since the Michelin Group began research, development and production of "green" tires in the world. In the year of 2010, it will continuously do more investment on green fields.
