Changchai Co.Ltd made good start in production and sales in 2010. As of the end of January, it has sold almost 120 thousand various diesel engines and owns 145.37% growth compared with the sales of 2009 ( 138.12% growth in single cylinder engines and 194.95% growth in multi-cylinder engines). There were more than 7000 diesel engines and generator units to be exported with year-to-year growth of 1059.86% in export income in January. Currently, Changchai has made full arrangements of the production tasks in February and will work overtime during the Spring Festival to meet the requirements of market.
On the economic working conference, the operation policy of opening market and improving quality has been made sure to consolidate the construction of soft power and enhance the core competitiveness of the company. The multi-cylinder engines to be manufactured and sold will exceed 150 thousand units for Changchai in 2010 with export income breaking 30 million dollars, which will lay good foundation for the implementation of 12th-plan of Changchai.
