News from China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM for short as below) reports that the US auto industry is gradually pulling out of shadow of the global financial crisis. Many auto manufacturers in US eye the fast growing Chinese auto market. They think that China is the big propeller in the future.
US automotive experts believe that automakers are recovering now because the monthly sales growth for the last three months of 2009 exceeded ten percent. However, this figure is far away from the 17 million annual sales goal. ACCM says more than 12 million autos were sold at last year in China and the Chinese market is booming. The big cake lures more US automakers to come to China in the year of 2010. General Motors, Ford and Chrysler already have their big ambitious plans to develop the auto business in China. Chinese auto experts believe that the 2010 Detroit auto show is the new beginning for US automakers. Also, more and more cooperation for US and China auto industry will be emerged.
