The first compulsory safety regulation for primary school buses is set up recently and it will take effect on July 1st, 2010. According to the new rules, each school bus needs to equip with black box and each seat must have safety belt. The color of bus is yellow and each bus must have at least two emergency exits. The new rule makes it clear that double-deckers or articulated buses cannot be used as school buses. Some details of school bus are as follow.
A. Bus seats can"t be the folding chairs and it must have safety belt.
B. The height of each seat back should be 710mm at least.
C. Each bus must have special seat for teachers or other staff so that they can take good care of students and deal with emergent cases.
D. The bottom half of the window must be fixed. The window can not be closed totally.
E. The sign of each school bus must be obviously and it should be posted at both sides of the bus.
F. Each school bus must have two emergent exits at least. If the bus seating capacity exceeds 13 people, the bus should have the third exit.
G. The color of the bus should be yellow.
