Recently it is known from Hengtong Bus that 58 orange 8-meter Hengtong New Sunshine gas buses formally performed in Bangkok, Thailand. The critic of Thailand Daily Newspaper spoke highly of Hengtong buses and wrote article saying that "The Chinese Hengtong new sunshine gas buses comply with the requirements of the Ministry of Transport of Thailand and get the local citizen"s favorable comments" in this February. In its related special report, it says that "The public buses are always the focus for the all walks of life in Bangkok and finally the hope comes today because of the Chinese Hengtong new sunshine gas buses."

According to the requirements of the Ministry of Transport of Thailand, the old cyan 6.5-meter minibuses will be replaced with new gas buses with less than 8-meter length. It regulates the application of NGV(natural gas vehicle). The report says" The Chinese Hengtong new sunshine gas buses comply with the requirements of the Ministry of Transport of Thailand and enjoy brand popularity as well as good reputation. Therefore, Bangkok Friendship Transport Company ordered 58 Hengtong buses from CNEEC(Thailand) corporation."
Luo Bangchu, Deputy General Manager of Hengtong Bus showed that the Southeast Asia is the traditional overseas market for Hengtong Bus with some amount of exported buses each year and Thailand market grows fastest for it in the ASEAN countries. Hengtong Bus has established the comparatively complete marketing and after-sales service system since the first launching in Bangkok in 2007, which also promotes the sales growth in Thailand market.

Luo said that "The approval of the Thailand media is the positive confirmation of the buses made in China and Hengtong buses. We will continue to make effort to provide comfortable, environmental gas buses and service in Thailand."
It is understood that this model (front engine bus or rear engine bus) is adaptable for our branch lines in big cities, main lines and outer suburbs in medium or small cities with strong adaptability. It can be extended from 7.5-meter to 8-meter and 8.5-meter and equipped with front and middle door design to maximize the use of passenger compartment. The gross weight is lighter about 2% than the city bus with the same length.
At present, CNEEC (Thailand) corporation is preparing to set up Hengtong buses assembly plant in Thailand industrial park. In addition, it will train a group of professional staff for better after-sales service.
