On 3 March 2010, 127 buses from Beijing Shouqi Group formally started to serve the National People"s Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People"s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), which are equipped with Yuchai engines.

Mr. Zhong, the resident service engineer of Yuchai in Shouqi Group worked for the technology support for the 127 vehicles with Yuchai engines. He showed that the security system included repair factory (vehicle maintenance stations included) and first-aid repair group on account of any possible conditions. They repeatedly checked the drop leak of fluid and focused on the emission of engines.

Liu Jichao, the after-sales service manager of Yuchai in Beijing District introduced that since 2006, Yuchai Engine has served NPC and CPPCC. The application amount of Yuchai engines is 300 units for the Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The application amount of Yuchai Euro Ⅳ engines is more than 2000 units for the Beijing Olympic Games. Mr. Zhong analyzed the reasons why Yuchai engines are popular: green environment protection; reliable quality; after-sales service in place; good fuel-saving. YC6J and YC6L selected for NPC and CPPCC obtained the approval from the vehicle manufacturers.
Manager Liu indicated that Yuchai engines were applied in the various models for the vehicle builders such as Yutong, Higer, Golden Dragon, North Neoplan and Ankai Bus and got their favorite comments. They started two special service stations and all service engineers provided 24-hour option and maintenance service for NPC and CPPCC. Mr. Zhong expressed that a great number of vehicles equipped with Yuchai engines and related service team would be seen for the Shanghai World Expo and Guangzhou Asian Games.
