Nigeria:Yutong Buses Poise to Conquer The Country's Market

According to the managing director of the company, Mohammed S B Mahmud, the introduction of the buses would redefine commercial, tours and corporate transport businesses in the country, noting that some of the Yutong buses that would compete in the industry would consist of super luxurious, top and mini luxurious buses including mass transit buses targeted at intra-city bus rapid shuttle and intercity buses.

 

He said all the buses that would be coming to the Nigerian market would be powered by Cummins engines in line with the dictates of the environment, noting that only high quality engines produced by world famous manufacturers are permitted to be installed in the Yutong buses.

 

He noted that the brand"s technical centre had also carried out intensive studies on numerous factors that would influence fuel efficiency and as a result succeeded in making the engine run stably even with lower fuel consumption through the adoption of advanced engine technologies.

 

He said for instance, Yutong ZK6147H super luxurious model passenger bus has a rigid body structure and steady performance that would sufficiently ensures operation safety and create more profit for buyers, adding that through strict control of each step in design and production, the brand reduces the maintenance rate and cost efficiency while bringing to customers long-term value in return.

 

"It is equipped with double glass front windscreen with smooth outline and also maintenance friendly and sophisticated driveline with low fuel consumption. Other models that will compete with the likes of Toyota Coaster and Nissan Civilian bus are the Yutong commercial bus with model series number ZK6737D and ZK6116D.

 

"The ZK6737D is designed with fashionable headlight with diamond style, open-view side window that allow for unlimited passenger enjoyment, an ergonomically-oriented interior decoration that will make passengers trip comfortable.

 

"The ZK6737D series on its part comes with very innovative front grille; a technically advanced chassis that ensures good rigidly while having the ability to bear large capacities and simple, yet stylish interior trimming with harmonious colour choices.

 

"For tour operators, Yutong Tourist Coach promises to deliver value to prospective players in the industry with ZK6100HB. This bus adopted an international style body design and combines multiple anti-corrosion techniques for strength. The interior trimming focuses on the passengers and ensures comfort while on motion," he said.

 

He explained that the adoption of advanced bus body framework and chassis would make the buses adaptable to any road and adverse weather conditions in Nigeria, adding that the buses are also equipped with large undercarriage luggage compartment.

 

Mahmud said the prices of the buses would be reasonable while efforts are being made to ensure that operating costs are effectively reduced so that operators of the buses could earn profits.

 

"Yutong Buses are coming to Nigeria with adequate spare parts, adequate technical back up, manufacturers warranty and free after sales service up to six months after purchase," he stated.
