On 10 March, Li Jindian, the deputy to the National People"s Congress and the chairman of Liaoning SG Automotive Group Co., Ltd. showed in the interview that the central has made clear indication of the future bottleneck problem of economic development: adjust the industrial structure and transfer the mode of economic development in 2010.
He said that the automobile industry is the big energy consumer while almost a half of our crude oil needs importing each year. New energy automobile represents the future development direction and complies with our national conditions. It is urgent to speed up the industrialization of new energy automobile for optimizing structure, energy-saving, emission-reducing and maintaining stable and rapid economic growth.
He believes that at present, it is electric vehicles with the biggest promotion value among hybrid power, electric and fuel cell. The development of electric vehicles and infrastructure construction refer to government. He said," The government should focus on the promotion of electric vehicles according to the technology development level. It is only electric vehicles that can really solve the energy conservation and environment pollution problems. And for other new energy vehicles, more attention is paid to the development to form the technical storage." In the meantime, he showed that it is the electric bus that is equipped with favorable conditions and most obvious achievements. Because electric bus run in the fixed route and distance, convenient to the construction of supporting facilities; it means a lot for the city environment pollution and can solve the problem of traffic jam.
SG Automotive Group Co., Ltd. focuses on the development prospect of new energy buses. On 2 March, it signed the joint venture and cooperative framework agreement of new energy vehicle with CSR Times. Both parties plan to speed up the construction of Phase Two based on Phase One of CSR Times industrialization base of electric vehicles. Within two years, the base will be made with the annual production of more than 10000 new energy buses and 20000 electric motor drive systems.
