Recently,CSR Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute Co., Ltd (hereinafter ZELRI for short), signed "Joint Venture and Cooperative Framework Arrangement of New Energy Vehicle Bus" with Liaoning SG Automotive Group Co., Ltd.(SG Automotive Group) and both parties will set up Hunan CSR Huanghai Electric Automobile Co.,Ltd.to create the biggest new energy bus base in China.
According to the cooperative framework arrangement, they will make capital increase to Zhuzhou CSR Times Electric Co., Ltd (a subsidiary of ZELRI) and Changzhou Huanghai Electric Automobile.Co, Ltd., a subsidiary of SG Automotive Group to make the production base of energy-saving, new energy buses and cars as well as realize the deep cooperation from capital to technology. Hunan CSR Huanghai Electric Automobile Co., Ltd. will be the development and industrialization base of new energy vehicles for both parties. It is planned that the construction of Phase Two will speed up based on the Phase One project of CSR Times electric vehicle industrialization base. Within two years, it will be made as the industrialization base with the annual production of more than 10000 new energy buses and 20000 motor drive systems. In the meantime, SG Automotive Group will put its current producing technology of pickups and axle into CSR Huanghai Electric Automobile.
Ding Rongjun, the executive director and the general manager of ZELRI showed that ZELRI would strengthen the new energy bus manufacturing industry and really realized the bright prospect of both system parts and vehicle producing through the cooperation with SG Automotive Group in vehicle building technology and marketing.
