On 29 April, 2010, the first luxury electric bus was launched in Huanghai Automobile Co., Ltd., which means an essential step toward the construction of new energy vehicle industrial park in high-tech zone in Changzhou.
The 12-meter luxury electric bus developed by Huanghai and CSR Times is provided with smooth line, fashion appearance and will show in Shanghai World Expo after launching in Changzhou. It is known that Huanghai has initially made an agreement of the cooperation intention with CSR Times in asset and technology. Based on the vehicle manufacturing technology and market operation advantages from Huanghai and core technology of electric vehicles from CSR Times from electric motor drive system to power system assembly, they will create the production base of hybrid power, medium-sized and large-sized electric buses together.
