NAVECO makes individual design for the demand of some industries such as medical treatment, industry & commerce and tobacco on special vehicles. Recently, it promoted "mobile communication vehicle" and full met customers" requirements of easy-moving and convenient service with high approvals. Branches of Telecommunications, Unicom and CMCC in Shanghai, Shandong, Hebei, Shaanxi, Anhui and Jiangxi have become one of the biggest clients for NAVECO communication vehicles, referring to almost a thousand units.
In addition, NAVECO provides tailor-made light buses such as mobile film projection vehicle, mobile communication vehicle, food monitoring vehicle for industry & commerce, agriculture science and technology publication vehicle, which have been one new sparkling point in the light bus market.
SAIC Group expects to step into the first group of commercial vehicles in China with 3-4 years. Currently, its annual production is about 200,000 units while more than 500,000 units (over 60,000 for heavy-duty trucks and 400,000 for light trucks) are required for the first group. NAVECO takes the important position in this strategy and the sales of Yuejin light trucks has over 35% of year-on-year growth in the first half of 2010.
