Since 2002, Dongfeng Yangtze Bus has produced the first hybrid power bus in China. With 8-year"s effort, it has developed various types of hybrid power models such as diesel-electric bus, hydraulic hybrid bus, gas-electric hybrid power bus and plug-in hybrid power bus.

WG6120HAA4 is a newly developed environmental fuel-electric hybrid power city bus, available in wide application in the cities with poor natural gas resources or a lot of bridges as well as slopes. This model applies the special 6-cylinder engine for hybrid power vehicle, "starting-stop" hybrid power control technology on account of the actual working condition of public transport, compact interior arrangement and comfortable riding. The practical fuel-efficiency comes to 25.8% and the emission is superior to National Standard IV.

WG6160CHM4 articulated city bus deploys creative technology as well as craftwork and combines the advantages of foreign buses. It is outstanding in simple frame structure, light weight, high intensity and rigidity, more reasonable in chassis layout. Due to the extended wheelbase, the performance of steering of this 16.3-meter bus basically equals to that of 10-meter bus and the flexibility of high capacity bus has been strengthened. SKD420 hydraulic hinged disc, D854.3E automatic transmission, integral power steering, air suspension, high power turbocharging, high pressure common rail engine, "SCR" aftertreatment system and National Standard IV emission are provided with this model. This model is suitable for both BRT system and conventional bus routes.
