China Bus Market Steadily Grows in Jan.-May

According to Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the accumulated sales volume of buses is 159,800 units, year-on-year growth of 42.13% in China in Jan.-May 2010. Various types of buses and coaches grow fast, especially for light bus, large-sized bus and medium-sized bus (year-on-year growth for models all exceeds 10%). In May, it sells 34,300 buses, month-to-month growth of 5.43% drop and year-on-year growth of 38.93%.

In Jan.-May, the top 10 bus builders for sales are: Brilliance Jinbei, JMC, Naveco, Yutong, Beiqi Foton, Kinglong, Golden Dragon, Higer, Shaolin and Zhongtong, referring to 125,200 units, which accounts for 78% of the total sales.
