On 21 June, the first electric city bus with lithium energy launched in the Lithium Energy Electric Automobile Base in Tangshan Cao Feidian Industrial Zone, China. This is the first electric bus made in Tangshan, also for Hebei province. In late July, the new electric vehicles marking "Tangshan Phoenix" will be produced in mass production.
the first electric bus made in Tangshan formally launches.
This model adopts lithium battery energy, all aluminium body with latest Britain manufacturing technology, zero emission, light noise and strong gradeability. The leading battery management system (one-time charging afford to the driving range of 250 kilometers) and cell groups (one worker can independently replace all cells within 8 minutes) are applied.

This project is invested by China Lithium Energy Power Group, including battery, motor, electronic control, charger and complete vehicle assembling, covering RMB 2.5 billion Yuan. In Phase one, 500 million Yuan is invested to build up two production lines of DC Brushless, two production lines of controllers, two production lines of lithium battery with 50 million Ah and one assembly line for electric vehicles with production volume of 500 units. It is predicted that 1000 electric vehicles can be made each year when the project is completed.
