Sales of Buses Increased 53.83% in the First Half Year

Sales of commercial vehicles are falling after rise in the first half year. Sales of commercial vehicles were 292,700 units in June, down 5.23% than May. However, production and sales of buses increased compared with May or last year, And 192,400 buses were sold from January to June, up 53.83% over last year.

 

According to statistics by China Automotive Technology & Research Center, China bus builders produced and sold 46,400 units and 35,200 units in June, up 10.09% and 5.54% over May and 56.99% and 40.47% over last year.

 

Benefiting from fast development in countryside markets and related policies, light buses markets revived firstly and continued its good performance till now, while large and medium bus markets, relying on intercity and city bus markets, performed comparatively bad influenced by highway-railway competition.
