Recently, Taitong Public Transport Company invested 15 million Yuan to purchase 50 environmental air-conditioning King Long buses in Taixing. This model obtains the green new energy bus award for the fourth China International Bus Competition and complies with National Standard Ш for emission.
The regularization of the exhaust emission for motors is continuously strengthened in Taixing in recent years. The Communications and Transportation Bureau confirms the city traffic development strategy of "bus first", makes "The Special Plan for City Public Traffic in Taixing" and stressfully builds up the green city traffic system with the public traffic as main body.
In May 2010, it invested 29.5 million Yuan on the related jobs and made measures to promote the construction of the low-carbon city public traffic in Taixing. In the meantime, it eliminated the original medium coaches with high consumption and emission and purchased 50 environmental King Long buses, which are equipped with environmental engine as well as configuration.
It is known that more than 10 bus routes will be built after the application of 50 new buses in the city.
