Compared with the electric cars, new energy electric buses are increasingly accepted by the market and highlight the industry. As the leading company, Ankai Bus continuously won big orders of new energy vehicles recently.
Ankai Bus will get the order of 150 new energy buses in the early July after the purchasing of 100 electric coaches from Hefei Xinya Automobile Passenger Transport Company on 22 June. It is out of question for the sales of 350 new energy buses in 2010. It is known that the unit price of Ankai new energy vehicle is about 1.8 million Yuan and the total sales amount of 350 units is 630 million Yuan, accounting for 29% of the total sales for Ankai Bus in 2009.
Ankai Bus signs the domestic biggest order of electric buses with passenger transport company
It is introduced that it made various measures to complete the order of new energy buses. Wang Xianfeng, the deputy general manager and secretary of chairman of Ankai Bus showed that the production line of new energy buses has been built up, which has the manufacturing capacity of 1000-1200 units. The battery cost can reduce around 30% if the production scale reaches more than 300 units.
Since 2001, Ankai Bus has started to develop electric vehicles, successfully produced the first one in 2004, which is also the first one in China and launches the domestic first group of 12-meter and 8-meter electric buses in September 2004. The related technical parameter of these products is regard as the uniform one in the industry. By 2010, the development of Ankai new energy products has stepped into the mature period. "In 2009, Ankai Bus transferred over 60 new energy buses in total with the sales income of 100 million Yuan." said Wang Xianfeng.
