It is known from Qingdao Public Transport Company on 14 July that 72 new natural gas buses have been launched in Qingdao Sunwin Bus Company in Jiaozhou. Currently, these new buses have driven to the urban through the examination calibration on 15 July. 36 buses will run on No.21 bus route since 16 July and 36 ones on No.367 bus route in 17th.
It is introduced that these new SWB6107Q6 buses with the maximum speed of 80 km/h are the first group of the buses to be replaced there.
It costs 34-36 cubic meters for a hundred kilometers for the new bus. Around RMB 55 Yuan will be saved for the fuel charges for a hundred kilometers compared with that of new fuel buses, according to the current natural gas price of 4.13 Yuan per cubic meter. This model is outstanding in both cost saving and environment protection.
