Delivery ceremony of China first fuel cell bus to Singapore was held in Nanyang Technological University on July 20, 2010. Xu Guanlin, President of Nanyang Technological University and Cen Zhangzhi, vice-chancellor of Tsinghus University attended the ceremony.
It is learned that the called “Greenlite” fuel cell bus will serve the first Youngman Olympic Games in August 2010 as the official new energy demonstrating vehicle.

Buses and coaches play an important role in Singapore transportation, and they are also the main air pollution resources which affect human health. Singapore government and Nanyang Technological University hope to improve green transport in Singapore by the new fuel cell buses.
The fuel cell bus was designed and produced by Tsinghua University, Beijing SinoHytec Co., Ltd. as well as Higer Bus Company.

The power system is internationally advanced chargeable fuel cell system, right-hand drive and unitary air conditioner with large refrigerating output. Compared with previous generation hydrogen fuel cell city bus, the “Greenlite” fuel cell bus features high reliability, rational structure and competitive price.
The successful delivery of the fuel cell bus means domestic fuel cell technology is getting more and more mature and it provides experience on fuel cell buses to used in bigger scope.
