In August, Xiamen Pubic Transport Group will hold the biggest job (employment of 200 drivers) fair in recent several years. It will increase a big quantity of city buses including natural gas buses in the last half of 2010.
King Long Natural Gas Buses
According to the public transport group, 50 King Long compressed natural gas (CNG) buses have been produced and will be applied recently. This model is 10.5-meter long and owns the driving range of about 400 kilometers. These newly launching CNG buses show difference from conventional buses (yellow as ground color) and BRT buses (blue body) for appearance:green as ground color, representing clean energy.

The supporting CNG plants are under construction, therefore, the delivery date for the GNG buses has been yet not sure. The routes where the first CNG buses run will depend on the position of the CNG plants in order to make sure the operation quality, based on the principal of the transport group.
