It is known from the staff of Market Expansion Dept. of King Long Bus that it has sold 10686 buses in total, year-on-year growth of 101.2% and the sales amount is 2.815 billion Yuan, year-on-year growth of 56.2%.
The big quantity of orders from overseas market makes almost all the workshops of King Long full production. At present, there are more than 30 large and medium buses off production line in only one manufacturing base each day, the production volume has exceeded 900 units in successive months and the monthly production will possibly break one thousand units in the future two months.
The production line of King Long light buses also continuously made new record from over 400 units at the beginning of this year to over 1000 units in July. The accumulated production volume is 4306 units in the first half of this year, year-on-year growth of 413.8% over last year.
In particular, it manufactured over 1200 units in Shaoxing producing dept and 600 units in Nanjing producing dept., making new record.
As one of the leading China bus builders. King Long has strong development since 2006 with the growth of almost 30% in successive years and also been the first one to adopt overseas strategy with the products over 59 countries and regions. It exported 3500 buses, referring to the amount of 1.23 billion Yuan, taking No.1 in the China bus industry.
Xu Xiangdong, the deputy general manager showed that in the last half of this year, King Long would continue to further open overseas market, remain the leading position in the industry, focus on the second and the third line market in China, greatly develop new energy buses and make effort to realize the growth rate of 20% and annual sales amount of 6 billion Yuan.
The continuously development of King Long lays foundation of the Hai Xi automobile manufacturing basis and promotes the prosperity of region economy. Currently, there are over 500 support companies for King Long such as Dana Axle and Yuchai engine as well as the related industry chain with conservative estimate of about 265 billion Yuan.
