According to CAAM, sales of commercial vehicles declined a lot in July over June, and commercial vehicles declined much bigger than passenger vehicles. Production and sales volumes from January to July surpassed 10,000,000 units.
In July, production volumes of vehicles were 1,285,800 units, down 7.54% over June, up 15.67% over last year; sales volumes were 1,244,000 units, down 11.90% over June and up 14.42% over last July. Production volumes of passenger vehicles were 990,900 units, down 5.21% over June, up 16.42% over last year; sales volumes were 946,200 units, down 9.27% over June and up 13.55% over last July. Production volumes of commercial vehicles were 294,900 units, down 14.59% over June, up 13.23% over last year; sales volumes were 297,800 units, down 19.33% over June and up 17.24% over last July.
Production and sales volumes of vehicles were 10,213,100 units and 10,260,200 units, up 43.64% and 42.65% over last year, among which, production and sales volumes of passenger vehicles were 7,674,600 units and 7,667,000 units, up 45.57% and 42.82% over last year, production and sales volumes of commercial vehicles were 5,538,500 units and 2,593,200 units, up 38.12% and 42.12% over last year
