Export of commercial vehicles soared in the first half of this year after the world financial crisis.
152,000 commercial vehicles, including trucks buses and special vehicles, were exported from Jan to June, up 38.46%, and export revenues were 2,398,000,000 Yuan, up 26.06%. China commercial vehicles export has been surging since February. Totally 64,300 commercial vehicles were sold out in the first season, and 87,800 units in the second season.
Chamber of import and export trade of China mechanics researcher Yang Aiguo argued that commercial vehicles export started to recover since 2010, although the revenues were fluctuating, the sales volumes are increasing steadily. And he predicts that annual export of commercial vehicles will be up to 350,000 units, similar to that of 2007 and 2008.
Apart from the recovery of world economy, more and more free trade areas contributed a lot in this process, including China-ASEAN, China-Peru, and China-Chile free trade zones.
However, the main target markets for domestic commercial vehicles are still Asia, Africa and Europe.
19,200 buses and coaches were exported from January to June, up 77% over last year, and the revenues were 526,000,000 Yuan, up 104% over last year.
Average monthly export of buses and coaches were 3,200 units, 52% than the figure last year. And 3,827 buses were exported in May, record high this year. And we can see the export level has be recovered to that of 2007 and 2008.
And the most popular bus models are 10 seats to 19 seats medium and light buses, and the export volumes were 11,240 units, 58.46% of all export volumes. And then it came to 30 seats above large buses, 5,738 buses and chassis were exported.
