In the afternoon of 20 August 2010, the inaugural meeting of "Technological Innovation Strategic Alliances of Anhui Province New Energy Auto Industry" was held in Anhui Ankai Automobile Co., Ltd. It refers to 24 new energy complete vehicles, key auto parts builders, high colleges, scientific research institution scientific research institution scientific research institutions, financial institutions and science and technology service agents.

As the initiator and the convener of this meeting, Ankai Bus was selected as the association unit of this alliance. Wang Jiang"an, the Chairman of Ankai Bus made profound elaboration of the importance of the foundation of alliance, description of the exploring of Ankai Bus in the field of new energy, the development of auto industry development in Anhui province and our national strategy for new energy vehicles. With foundation of "Technological Innovation Strategic Alliances of Anhui Province New Energy Auto Industry" , it will further explore effective mode, develop the advantageous resources from cluster alliance, speed up the breakthrough of key technology, improve technology level of complete vehicles and key parts and promote the leap-forward development of auto industry in Anhui province, contributing to the strong auto industry.
It makes the position of Ankai Bus in the new energy vehicle industry that the fundamental force of the development of new energy bus as well as advanced manufacturing concept. Since market research in 2001, development of electric vehicles in 2003, Ankai Bus has owned 11 types of new energy buses listed in products announcement from Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, which has the most new energy models in the announcement and with rich production lines. According to the statistics, there are about 200 electric buses in operation in China, including 162 ones from Ankai. In the plan, the phase one of manufacturing line of new energy buses has been completed with the production capacity of 1000 units. By 2012, the production will reach 3000 units. Ankai Bus will be the giant in the industry in both technology and production capacity.
