China (Wuxi) New Energy Conference announced the top 30 China new energy companies on August 17, and apart from BYD Motors and Yingli Green Energy etc leading companies, there were two other automobile companies listed, and Zhongtong Bus is the only bus manufacturer to be chosen.
Zhongtong Bus has manufactured medium and large buses for over forty years, and in recent years they do well in development and innovations on new energy buses. And Zhongtong Bus is the only China bus builder to assume three “863”energy-saving and new energy programs, and they have been awarded China well-known brand last year.
During the electing process, the judging panel paid much on manufacturers’ actual contributions to development of new energy technology and usage, and Zhongtong Bus had their new energy products serving Beijing Olympic Games and the 11th National Games successfully.
