Recently Dongfeng new energy vehicles base has been started to construct in Xiangfan, Hubei Province. Dongfeng invested 606 million Yuan to produce the new energy vehicle production base with production capacity 2,000 complete vehicles and 5,000 chassis annually.
Dongfeng Automobile has started to develop pure electric vehicles since 2005, and currently they have twelve vehicles modes, including pure electric buses, electric trucks, MPV, SUV, pickups, minibus and YH-A etc. And Dongfeng pure electric city buses, hybrid buses and electric logistic transport vehicles have been under test running in some domestic cities.
