Income of Eaton Reaches $3.57 billion in the third Quarter

Due to the income increasing of core business, the income of Eaton reaches 3.57 billion USD in the third quarter, year-on-year growth of 17.9%. In the first nine months in 2010, the year-on-year growth has come to almost 15% for income from 8.74 billion USD to 10.05 billion USD.

In the third quarter, the income shows as following in various fields (trucks and automobile). Trucks: 530 million USD, year-on-year growth of 33.2%; Automobile: 390 million USD, year-on-year growth of 19.6%. In the first nine months, the income of Eaton automobile reaches 1.15 billion USD, year-on-year growth of 33.1% and the operating profit grows to 470 million USD (profit margin: 13.2%). In the first nine months, the operation profit increase from 630 million USD to 1.2 billion USD (12.1%).
