On 11 Oct. Jiang Daming, Deputy Secretary of Shandong Provincial Committee and Governor of Shandong Province led the leaders attending the observation meeting for transformation as well as structure adjustment to visit Weichai Power. They visited Weichai Binhai Industrial Park, International Logistics Park and High-tech Industrial Park. Jiang Daming spoke highly of the great achievements of Weichai Power, in particular, the outstanding performance due to transformation and structure adjustment.
Tan Xuguang, the Chairman of Weichai Power introduced the specific measures for structure adjustment. In order to fully implement the strategy of making Shandong Peninsula “blue economy area”, Weichai Power set up various industrial parks referring to High-tech, casting, Binhai Park and International Logistics Park respectively, which enable the company capable of 10000 horse-power marine power and development and manufacturing capability for the series medium-speed diesel engines from 200 hp to 10000hp. When learning that Weichai Power was using the advanced producing technology and the most suitable equipments in the world, Jiang Daming approved it. The international advanced equipments and technology are broadly applied in the International Logistics Park, according to the requirements of whole logistics value chain. This park is made to set up efficient and consistent supply chain system, becoming the domestic top logistics distribution center on site, suitable to international level.
