Net Profits of Yutong up 62% in the First Three Quarters

According to Yutong sales reports for the first three quarters released on the night of October 25, Yutong operation revenues amounted to 9.132 billion RMB (1,369,879,000 USD), up 57%, and net profits were 546 million RMB (81,894,000 USD), up 62%.

 
27,700 buses were produced in the first nine months, up 45%, and 28,200 buses were purchased, up 50%.


  
And 4,672 buses were sold out in September, narrowly less than the record high of monthly sales of 4,899 buses in last December.


 
Currently Yutong production base is running at full capacity, and they will build a new production base in Zhengzhou economic development zone with 50,000 units annual production capacity.


 
Yutong has realized that risks of their single products and they are planning to start their heavy trucks business, and their sales may amount to 30 billion RMB(4,500,260,000 USD) till 2012.


   
With recovered export volumes, sales of buses may amount to 8,000-10,000 units in the fourth quarter, and annual output may amount to 36,000-40,000 units.
