On 18 October 2010, the pure electric bus independently developed by Chongqing Hengtong Bus Co., Ltd. was presented in Chongqing and attracted great attention.
On the same day, Hengtong Bus signed purchasing agreement for the first electric buses with Chongqing Public Transport Group and Huzhou Public Transport. These buses will be applied in Chongqing and Zhejiang in the beginning of next year. It marks the stage development for development as well as manufacturing of Hengtong Bus and also offers new products choice for domestic city transport in accordance with national energy-saving.

Outstanding Environment Performance and Low Operation Cost
It is new energy bus equipped with mechanical automatic transmission and electronic power steering. The power consumption of each electric bus is about 110 kw/h for 100 km, much less than gas or fuel bus.
